Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AWS Connect Technical Lead / Senior Engineer to lead the design, implementation, integration and optimisation of Amazon Connect solutions. The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to provide technical leadership across engineering, architecture and operational teams.

Key Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Amazon Connect architecture, configuration and platform administration
• Expertise in Contact Flows, routing strategies, queues, profiles and customer journeys
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Lex and conversational AI integrations
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Connect APIs, AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Contact Trace Records (CTR), Kinesis streaming and analytics integrations
• Understanding of Amazon Connect security, SAML/SSO and identity integration
• Experience with Workforce Management, Quality Management and Contact Lens
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support experience across the Connect platform
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices for Amazon Connect configuration and deployments

Technical Leadership Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for the Amazon Connect platform
• Drive solution design and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements
• Own technical delivery outcomes, platform quality and engineering standards
• Identify and manage technical, operational and delivery risks
• Collaborate with AWS, vendors, engineering teams and internal stakeholders
• Lead platform simplification, automation and continuous improvement
• Promote operational excellence, resilience, security and customer experience
• Coach and mentor engineers and help build long-term Amazon Connect capability
• Support architectural and technical decisions across the platform
