AWS Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture solutions on AWS. You will build and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and robust data pipelines while ensuring governance, security, and compliance standards. Qualification: Bachelor s/Master s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, Lambda)
• Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and big data architecture
• Experience with ETL/ELT workflows and pipeline frameworks (Glue, Spark, AWS Data Pipeline)
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance in cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS-based data architecture and scalable solutions
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows for large-scale data processing
• Create and optimize data lakes and data warehouses for performance and cost-efficiency
• Define and enforce data governance and security policies (IAM, encryption, cataloging)
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and best practices for continuous improvement
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and optimization across data platforms

Good to Have:

• AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect Certification
• Experience in performance tuning for large-scale datasets
• Exposure to additional big data tools and frameworks (EMR, Kinesis, etc.)
• Familiarity with BI tools for reporting and analytics
