Aws Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Build and maintain cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data transformations, aggregations, analytics, and performance optimization.
• Leverage Python for data engineering, automation, orchestration, and solution development.
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and performance.

Required Skills

SQL & Python (Mandatory)

• Strong SQL expertise.
• Experience writing complex queries involving transformations, aggregations, and performance tuning.
• Strong Python programming skills for Data Engineering use cases.
• Experience in automation, orchestration, and data solution development.

AWS Data Engineering

Hands-on experience with:

• Amazon S3
• AWS Glue
• Amazon Athena
• Amazon Redshift

Big Data Technologies

• PySpark
• Spark-based processing
• Databricks

Leadership Experience

• Individual Contributor (Primary Role)
• Team Management / Team Lead experience preferred

Additional Skills

• DevOps and Platform Engineering exposure

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA / B.Sc. / M.Sc. (IT/CS)
