AWS DevOps

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with development and QA teams and lead the automation of builds and deployments
• Design, build, and maintain a continuous deployment pipeline, integrating GitLab, Jenkins, Elastic Container Service, Lambda, and Docker into a variety of infrastructure combinations
• Using IaC tools (like Terraform), build and maintain an automated process for provisioning and de-provisioning AWS infrastructure
• Monitor active systems, create incident alerts, and lead the handling of incidents
• Build and maintain system status reports
• Ensure team collaboration using Jira, Confluence, and other tools
• Analyze usage of existing systems and create a plan for upgrading or downgrading infrastructure to meet requirements and control costs

Helpful experience:

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
• Relational Database administration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field required
• Overall experience should be around 8-10 years in IT, software development.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in hands-on DevOps engineering
• 3-4 years of experience supporting software development teams
• 2-3 years experience with AWS and public cloud Environments
• Apache Web server configuration and administration
• Expert in using AWS toolkits
• Good understanding of cloud application design patterns and practices preferably with AWS
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Strong Linux and network administration skills
• Experience implementing CI/CD
• Experience using a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services
• Experience with infrastructure automation solutions like Terraform
