AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and support cloud infrastructure and CI/CD solutions across AWS and other hyperscale cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevSecOps.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy CI/CD pipelines across AWS/Azure and other cloud environments.
• Participate in AWS account onboarding, configuration, and IAM controls.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Develop automation for software deployment, testing, infrastructure provisioning, and operational activities.
• Build and maintain Dockerfiles and container images.
• Implement standards, processes, and controls for release and deployment activities.
• Manage and support multi-account AWS environments.
• Work closely with application teams to adopt DevSecOps, cloud, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
• Monitor and optimize AWS environments for performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Identify AWS cost optimization / FinOps opportunities.

About you

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and DevOps.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation, particularly for Infrastructure as Code.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud-based DevOps practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, QuickSight, and AWS Operations.
• Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Experience with Python development/scripting.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with developer and build tools such as Git, SVN, and Maven.
• Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience managing multi-account AWS deployments.
