TITLE: AWS DevOps Engineer

LOCATION: 100% Remote – U.S.

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to support and scale a modern B2B SaaS platform in an AWS-heavy, cloud-native environment. This hands-on role will focus initially on operational support, ticket resolution, and immediate DevOps needs while providing opportunities to take ownership of larger automation and scalability initiatives. You will work across Cloud Operations, SRE, Product, and Engineering teams to improve infrastructure, deployment capabilities, and operational efficiency. This is primarily a DevOps/Cloud Operations position rather than a traditional SRE role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, maintain, and support scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Support Kubernetes/EKS-based containerized applications and production environments.

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Develop, customize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Manage Helm charts, Docker containers, and application deployments.

• Develop automation and operational tooling, primarily using Python.

• Troubleshoot operational issues, resolve ticket-driven work, and identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes.

• Support distributed, multi-tenant SaaS applications.

• Improve infrastructure automation, scalability, and deployment capabilities.

• Collaborate with Cloud Ops, SRE, Product, and Engineering teams.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 5+ years of relevant Cloud Operations, DevOps, or similar experience preferred, with technical depth prioritized over a rigid years-of-experience requirement.

• Strong hands-on AWS experience supporting scalable production applications.

• Strong Kubernetes/EKS and Terraform experience.

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions.

• Hands-on experience with Helm and Docker/containerized applications.

• Python scripting and automation experience.

• Experience supporting distributed, multi-tenant systems.

• Experience in a modern B2B SaaS or product environment strongly preferred.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot production issues and manage operational workloads in a remote environment.

• Candidates must meet applicable background and security requirements. No visa sponsorship is available.
