Job Description: AWS DevOps Engineer Kubernetes

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and programming in Python, Go, or Java. The candidate will be responsible for automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds and deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Go, or Java.
• Monitor application performance, system availability, and infrastructure health.
• Implement logging, monitoring, security, and alerting solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment processes.
• Follow DevOps best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience with AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Programming or scripting experience in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, Git, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production environments.

Good to Have

• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of AWS EKS.
• Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and secrets management.
