The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DevOps, platform engineering, CI/CD modernization, security integration, and infrastructure automation.

This role will be responsible for building scalable developer platforms, enhancing software delivery processes, implementing DevSecOps practices, and driving the migration of legacy CI/CD systems to GitHub-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain GitHub Actions workflows supporting CI/CD across multiple repositories and environments (Development, Staging, and Production).
  • Build, manage, and optimize self-hosted Actions Runner Controller (ARC) runners on Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), including autoscaling, pod identity, security controls, and network policies.
  • Integrate and operationalize GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) capabilities such as Secret Scanning, Push Protection, Code Scanning (CodeQL), and Dependency Review.
  • Lead migration of legacy CI/CD tools including Jenkins, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeBuild to GitHub Actions.
  • Implement and enforce repository governance standards including branch protection rules, required status checks, deployment approvals, and environment protection policies.
  • Develop reusable workflows, composite actions, and CI/CD templates to standardize delivery processes across engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Information Security teams to embed DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST, Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and secrets management.
  • Administer GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) environments, including organization management, SCIM provisioning, Okta integration, team administration, and repository governance.
  • Configure monitoring, auditing, logging, and alerting for CI/CD platforms using tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar observability solutions.
  • Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and compliance across enterprise software delivery environments.
  • Drive platform improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices for software engineering teams.
