AWS Enterprise Technologist, Cloud AI & Innovation

DESCRIPTION

In this role, you’ll act as a CxO-in-residence serving as a technology and strategy advisor for key AWS enterprise and ISV customers. You will be based in our AWS Singapore office and will have remit across APJ, specifically ASEAN

Key job responsibilities

• Advise AWS customers on how to increase their speed of AI innovation, the efficiency of their IT, and the business value their technology generates by adopting cloud technology from a people, process and technology perspective.
• Lead proposal development for outcome-based business-IT solution recommendations for AWS adoption in collaboration with sales, solution architecture, and business development
• Ensure that the solutions developed across organizations align to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet business objectives (cost and benefits.)
• Act as a subject matter expert in the development of business outcomes using AWS methodologies, tool suite selection, and design and methodology execution
• Serve as the AWS executive technical sponsor for strategic customer initiatives
• Actively participate at industry events with thought leadership about cloud, technology and modern ways of working
• Engage with system integrators and strategic ISVs across multiple customers
• Identify patterns across customers’ needs and challenges to help AWS publish white papers, customer technical case studies, blog posts, pre-sales first call decks, and other content that will drive scale, standardization, and repeatability
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time and communicate effectively in-person and in virtual settings

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications
• Experience in specific technology domain areas like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent
• Knowledge of large scale automation and workflow management or equivalent
• Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent
• Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
