AWS Integration Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an AWS Integration Engineer to develop, test, deploy, monitor, and support reliable production-ready integrations. The role focuses heavily on AWS Glue, PySpark, Python, Lambda, S3, SFTP, file-based integrations, operational readiness, monitoring, exception handling, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AWS-based integration and data-processing solutions.
• Build ETL/data pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Develop Python-based integration and transformation logic.
• Build serverless processing solutions using AWS Lambda.
• Develop file-based integrations using S3 and SFTP.
• Implement data validation, transformation, reconciliation, and exception-handling processes.
• Develop restart and recovery procedures for failed integrations.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
• Monitor production integrations using CloudWatch and other AWS monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and operational guides.
• Ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, secure, and production-ready.
• Collaborate with the Technical Lead, architects, developers, QA teams, and client stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5-9 years of experience in integration/data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Strong Python programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and S3.
• Strong experience with SFTP and file-based integrations.
• Experience developing ETL/data pipelines.
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Experience with production monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of AWS security and IAM concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
