AWS Kafka Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS, Apache Kafka, and data engineering. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines and real-time data streaming solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS.
• Build and manage real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Work with AWS data services to build reliable and scalable data solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and Kafka environments.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, and analytics teams.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, and production support.

Required Skills

• 68+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka and real-time data streaming.
• Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Good programming experience in Python.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-based data architecture.
• Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, or EMR is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
