AWS Solutions Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AWS Technical Lead with strong hands on experience in AWS cloud engineering, DevOps, and cloud architecture. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on designing, building, and managing scalable AWS platforms while driving the adoption of Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise across the AWS ecosystem, experience managing cloud environments and sandboxes, and a solid understanding of modern DevOps practices and AI technologies.

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern European Time

Key Responsibilities

● Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud solutions.

● Serve as the technical lead for cloud engineering initiatives, providing architectural guidance and hands-on implementation support.

● Design and implement Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock and AWS AI services.

● Manage AWS environments, including development, QA, staging, production, and sandbox environments, ensuring governance and operational excellence.

● Build reusable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).

● Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native operational processes.

● Implement AWS security best practices, IAM, networking, encryption, secrets management, and governance controls.

● Collaborate with application, DevOps, AI, and data engineering teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.

● Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for availability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

● Lead cloud modernization, migration, and platform engineering initiatives.

● Mentor engineers on AWS best practices, DevOps, cloud-native architecture, and emerging AI technologies.

● Stay current with new AWS services, AI capabilities, and cloud engineering best practices.

Required Skills

● 6+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Architecture.

● Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and Step Functions.

● Experience with Amazon Bedrock and a basic understanding of Generative AI, RAG, and AI agents.

● Experience managing AWS sandboxes and cloud environments.

● Hands-on experience with Terraform/CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred), and CI/CD tools.

● Working knowledge of Python (preferred), Java, Node.js, or TypeScript.

Mandatory Certifications

● AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

● AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience building production-grade Generative AI applications on AWS.

● Experience with cloud modernization and migration programs.

● Experience implementing platform engineering and landing zone best practices.

● Exposure to MLOps, SageMaker, or AI model deployment pipelines.

● Experience working in consulting, managed services, or enterprise cloud environments
