AZ Driver Supervisor

Grey Express Inc. is a truckload and less-than-truckload dry van carrier providing professional transportation services to our valued Customers in North America. Grey Express Inc. is based in in Milton, Ontario with facilities in Woodstock, ON, Calgary. AB and Laredo, TX. In our continuing efforts to provide professional transportation services to our Customers, Grey Express Inc. is currently recruiting a full-time Driver Supervisor based at our Milton, Ontario facility. This position reaches beyond the transportation segment of the business to provide safety, compliance and health & safety support for our fleet.

Transportation Experience

• Extensive knowledge of the trucking industry.
• A proven track record in the industry.
• In depth knowledge of transportation regulations.
• Experience in transportation, health and safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Logging Device systems.
• Working knowledge of vehicle camera systems.
• Working knowledge of equipment tracking systems.
• Driver recruiting and onboarding experience.
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance programs preferred.
• Prior experience with accident investigations, reviews, corrective action plans, retraining and return to duty status would be an asset.
• AZ licence and experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operator recruiting processes.
• Direct and deliver the operator onboarding including required training.
• Ability to perform driver on road pre-hire and periodic road testing.
• Provide ongoing operator training programs.
• Assist with the maintenance of CDL operator qualification files.
• Conduct operator compliance interviews.
• Coordinate and conduct periodic safety meetings with operators to communicate safety performance results.
• Other projects and duties as may be required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
