AZ or DZ Driver/Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable AZ or DZ Driver/Operator, willing to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy equipment. As a driver/operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating trucks which require a n AZ or DZ license to operate to assist with underground utility work tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks requiring an AZ or DZ licenses to operate and associated equipment for excavation tasks.
• Ensure the safe operation of heavy machinery including but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, graders, and water trucks.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to execute excavation projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with horizontal drilling operations as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license
• Experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
• Strong understanding of route navigation and freight handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety practices while driving

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00-$44.00 per hour
