Azure & Generative AI Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure & Generative AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications and intelligent agents on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Generative AI applications using Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI services.
• Work with LLMs and foundation models to build chatbots, copilots, RAG solutions, and AI agents.
• Develop AI solutions using Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript .
• Implement prompt engineering, model evaluation, fine-tuning where appropriate, and performance optimization.
• Build and integrate RAG pipelines using enterprise data sources and vector search.
• Develop and orchestrate AI agents, including tool/API integrations and MCP-based workflows.
• Deploy and manage AI applications on Azure.
• Implement security, identity, monitoring, observability, governance, and Responsible AI guardrails.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and software development teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure .
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs .
• Experience with Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI services .
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases/search, embeddings, and prompt engineering .
• Experience building AI agents and integrating APIs/tools.
• Understanding of Azure services, security, RBAC, networking, and cloud deployment.
• Familiarity with monitoring, evaluation, and responsible AI practices.

Nice to Have

• Azure OpenAI experience.
• Azure AI Search / vector search experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
• CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Microsoft AI certifications such as Azure AI Engineer.
