Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

Design and implement enterprise-grade OCR and Intelligent Document Processing solutions on Microsoft Azure. Define scalable, secure, and reusable OCR service patterns supporting multiple business domains and document types. Establish solution design standards, technical best practices, and governance frameworks. Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade OCR and Intelligent Document Processing solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Define scalable, secure, and reusable OCR service patterns supporting multiple business domains and document types
• Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain Azure-based OCR platforms using Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Storage Accounts, Data Factory, App Services, Key Vault, and Monitor & Log Analytics
• Build scalable, resilient, and highly available Azure cloud solutions
• Support deployment automation and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps
• Integrate OCR solutions with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, SAP, SharePoint, and workflow platforms
• Develop and manage REST APIs, event-driven integrations, and automated document-processing pipelines
• Implement data validation, quality controls, exception handling, and error-management processes
• Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), encryption, secret management, and audit logging
• Manage and support production OCR environments, monitor platform availability, OCR accuracy, throughput, performance, and operational health

About you

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering, Cloud Solution Engineering, or a related role
• Proven experience designing and implementing OCR or Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer)
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and automated processing workflows
• Experience building secure, scalable, resilient, enterprise-grade Azure architectures
• Proficiency in Python, C#, and/or .NET
• Good understanding of cloud security, RBAC, encryption, monitoring, logging, and governance
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills
