Location: London, UK (Hybrid) – 3 Days onsite

Description

The position is for a Developer with primary skills in Data Software Engineering. The candidate should have expertise in Azure Databricks. The preferred location for this role is London, and work from office is required on a regular schedule.

Candidate’s responsibilities:

• Develop data software engineering solutions using Azure Databricks and Scala
• Collaborate with the team to ensure project requirements are met
• Participate in customer interviews as needed
• Communicate project status and escalate any project-related issues to management as necessary

Key skills

• Minimum 6 to 8 years candidate, Highly experienced in designing and implementing complex data pipelines applying data engineering techniques, using Azure Data Factory, Databricks
• Experienced in development using Scala
• Experienced in performance optimisation on large data set (multi-million records)
• Good problem solving skills
• Good understanding of Azure services
• Collaborative, good communication

Nice to have

• Have worked in Agile team, understanding of Agile principles and practices
• Certified Databricks
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
