Azure Data Engineer – Washington, DC
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer for a 12-month contract with possible extension. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Azure data engineering, ETL development, data migration, and modern data lake/lakehouse solutions.
Required skills: 15+ years of overall IT experience with strong experience in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Delta Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, PySpark, Python, SQL, Spark and Scala. Strong experience designing and developing batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines, ADF Data Flows, data lake/lakehouse architectures, data warehousing, data modeling, data migration and data governance. Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, SSIS, Informatica, SQL Server and Oracle/PLSQL is preferred. Experience with enterprise data modernization and Salesforce migration is a plus.
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 12 Months – Possible Extension
