Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3-4 days a week)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 06-12 Months

Pay Rate: CAD 50-55/hour Incorporated

SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing, including 5+ years with Azure Data Platform technologies.
2. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
3. Expertise in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using ADLS, Python, and SQL.
4. Hands-on experience with Autosys for job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
5. Strong understanding of Spark architecture, distributed computing, and performance optimization.
6. Experience with MySQL, data quality validation, Git/Azure DevOps, and technical leadership.
