About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), and the broader Azure ecosystem. This role is hands-on, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance data pipelines and solutions while guiding teams through the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage ADF pipelines, including Polybase integrations.
• Work extensively with Azure Storage services (Blob Storage, Data Lake, Data Factory V2, Databricks).
• Develop scalable, testable, and maintainable code for data solutions.
• Work with streaming analytics and advanced Azure data services such as Data Flows.
• Deliver high-volume, low-latency distributed data solutions.
• Collaborate with Agile teams across the full software development lifecycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing, support).
• Mentor junior developers and manage small technical teams when required.
• Engage directly with clients, bringing assertiveness and proactive collaboration to the table.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience with ADF, ADB, Azure SQL, SSIS, and SDFS.
• Strong expertise in ADF pipeline development and Polybase.
• Deep knowledge of Azure data storage and compute services.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices.
• Agile methodology experience with end-to-end SDLC involvement.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Data Warehouse applications.
• Exposure to TTH domain projects.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
