Job Title: Data Test Lead

We are looking for a data test lead with strong experience in Azure Data Factory, ETL/data warehouse testing, data migration testing, reconciliation, and data quality validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data testing strategy for large-scale EDW migration from legacy ETL platforms to cloud-native architectures.
• Perform source-to-target reconciliation, parallel testing, and transformation validation.
• Validate Azure Data Factory pipelines, orchestration workflows, and data processing.
• Perform testing of complex transformations, aggregations, business rules, and dimensional models.
• Build and execute SQL-based data validation and reconciliation frameworks.
• Perform data migration, regression, SIT, UAT, and production validation.
• Lead and mentor QA/testing teams and coordinate with data architects, ETL developers, BAs, and business stakeholders.
• Manage defects, test execution, data quality metrics, and stakeholder reporting.

Required Skills:

• 9+ years of Data Warehouse/ETL Testing experience.
• Strong ETL/ELT and data migration testing experience.
• Hands-on Azure Data Factory testing experience.
• Strong Ab Initio knowledge and experience validating graphs, mappings, and workflows.
• Hands-on dbt experience, including dbt tests, snapshots, model validation, SQL transformation validation, and lineage verification.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Strong Snowflake/cloud data warehouse experience.
• Strong experience in source-to-target testing, reconciliation, data validation, and data quality.
• Good understanding of dimensional modelling and enterprise data warehousing.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent test/defect management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.
