Azure infrastructure engineer

For one of our clients - We're looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer to join a collaborative platform team responsible for developing and maturing an enterprise Azure platform.

Are you a hands-on Azure expert who enjoys building scalable cloud platforms and enabling developer self-service? This role combines hands-on engineering with technical design, automation, governance and platform enablement.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Azure platform capabilities using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and platform products for development teams.
• Enable developer self-service through standardized cloud building blocks.
• Design and support infrastructure solutions for business-critical applications and platform services.
• Drive platform automation, governance, standards and best practices.
• Investigate technical challenges, evaluate options and propose scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders across international teams.

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Git.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering.
• Experience building reusable cloud services, platform products or self-service capabilities.
• Ability to analyse technical problems and propose solution designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in an environment where ownership and initiative are expected.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting enterprise or business-critical applications on Azure.
• Azure governance and security experience.
• Experience with developer self-service platforms.
• Experience creating reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure products.
• Background in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
