Azure SQL Data Base Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure SQL databases to meet business requirements.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to design data models, develop stored procedures, and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with security standards by implementing access controls, encryption, and backup strategies.

Job Requirements :

• 6-14 years of experience as an MSSQL DBA in a cloud environment (Azure).
• Strong knowledge of Azure Database services including SQL Server instances, storage options, networking configurations.
• Experience with performance tuning techniques such as indexing, partitioning, query optimization.
• Proven track record of cost optimization through efficient resource allocation.
