Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Technical Architect to lead cloud architecture strategy, enterprise solution design, and cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and application modernization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the Azure cloud architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade Azure solutions.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and application modernization projects.
• Establish architectural standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Design and implement cloud security architecture and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering and DevOps teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead and mentor technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization, performance improvement, and scalability.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Proven experience in cloud security architecture and security management.
• Hands-on proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in enterprise cloud migration and application modernization.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and cloud governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architecture patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and performance management.

Candidate Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant IT experience, with strong Azure architecture expertise.
• Experience designing and leading enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Ability to drive architecture decisions and lead complex cloud transformation initiatives.
• Availability to work in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
