B-BBEE Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical B-BBEE Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing B-BBEE compliance and reporting requirements, ensuring that the organisation remains compliant with applicable B-BBEE legislation and achieves its transformation objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of the B-BBEE framework and Codes of Good Practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, monitoring and maintenance of the organisation’s B-BBEE compliance documentation.
• Collect, analyse and validate information and supporting documentation required for B-BBEE verification.
• Monitor B-BBEE scorecard performance across relevant elements, including Ownership, Management Control, Skills Development, Enterprise and Supplier Development, and Socio-Economic Development.
• Maintain accurate B-BBEE records, trackers and supporting evidence.
• Liaise with internal departments to obtain the required information and documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of B-BBEE reports, submissions and verification packs.
• Monitor progress against B-BBEE targets and identify potential gaps or areas requiring improvement.
• Assist with implementing initiatives aimed at improving the organisation’s B-BBEE score.
• Keep up to date with changes to B-BBEE legislation, regulations and relevant Codes of Good Practice.
• Provide administrative and analytical support for B-BBEE-related projects and initiatives.
• Liaise with external consultants, verification agencies and other relevant stakeholders when required.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in B-BBEE, Human Resources, Business Management, Finance, Law, or a related field .

• Previous experience in a B-BBEE, compliance, transformation or analytical role will be advantageous.

• Good understanding of the B-BBEE Act and Codes of Good Practice .

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office .

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
