B2B Collections / Portfolio Management Specialist

Work Setup: Hybrid – RTO every Wednesday
Shift: APAC – 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Midshift)

Role Overview

We are looking for a B2B Collections / Portfolio Management Specialist to manage and monitor assigned client accounts and portfolios, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances while maintaining strong business relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on experience in B2B collections, credit control, accounts receivable, and portfolio management, with strong emphasis on stakeholder communication, account reconciliation, dispute resolution, and financial analysis.

Candidates with experience handling international B2B clients are highly preferred.

Important: This role is focused on B2B portfolio management and collections. Candidates whose collections experience is primarily queue-based or high-volume consumer collections within a BPO environment will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of B2B client accounts and outstanding receivables
• Monitor account balances, aging reports, payment status, and collection activities
• Conduct proactive follow-ups with business clients through email and phone
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes, billing concerns, and account discrepancies
• Perform account reconciliation and identify root causes of outstanding balances
• Analyze financial and account data to determine appropriate collection actions
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Finance, Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Customer/Client teams
• Escalate complex account issues and provide recommendations for resolution
• Maintain accurate portfolio records, collection notes, and account documentation
• Prepare and communicate updates regarding portfolio performance and collection status
• Prioritize accounts and manage changing priorities and deadlines effectively
• Support process improvements related to collections and portfolio management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in B2B Collections, Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Portfolio Management
• Hands-on experience managing a portfolio of business/client accounts
• Strong experience in stakeholder and client management
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients through email and phone
• Experience handling dispute resolution, account reconciliation, and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial/account data and recommend appropriate actions
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities and deadlines
• Adaptable and able to learn new processes and systems quickly

Highly Preferred

• Experience handling B2B international clients
• Experience in an international collections, credit control, or accounts receivable environment
• 2–3 years of hands-on international experience with strong portfolio management and stakeholder management exposure
• Experience managing complex client portfolios rather than purely transactional collections
• Experience working directly with international business stakeholders or clients

Pay: Php28,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
