B2B Journalist

Now Media is looking for a sharp, reliable journalist to produce accurate, engaging editorial content for its B2B travel and tourism publications. The role suits someone who is curious, organised, deadline-driven and confident engaging with industry professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Research, report and write news articles, features and interviews
• Source and verify information accurately and efficiently
• Build and maintain industry contacts
• Conduct interviews in person, by phone and online
• Produce clean copy to deadline
• Assist with newsletters, website publishing and content planning
• Work with editors to develop angles, refine stories and improve output
• Attend relevant events, briefings and industry functions when required
• Support multimedia and social promotion of editorial content where needed

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in journalism, media, communications or similar
• Strong English writing and editing ability
• Ability to research thoroughly and verify facts
• Confidence interviewing sources and following up professionally
• Strong time management and deadline discipline
• Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with editorial direction
• Comfortable working in a specialist B2B publishing environment
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
