B2C Reconciliation Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Reconcile daily and monthly sales, returns, refunds, and marketplace settlements.

• Match marketplace payments with sales reports, invoices, and bank statements.

• Identify and resolve payment mismatches, short settlements, and incorrect deductions.

• Verify marketplace commissions, logistics charges, penalties, and other fees.

• Track outstanding payments and follow up with marketplaces for recovery.

• Maintain reconciliation reports and monthly MIS.

• Coordinate with internal teams and marketplace support to resolve discrepancies.

• Update accounting records and assist with month-end closing.

• *24 years of relevant B2C/e-commerce reconciliation experience.*

• Experience with Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Meesho, or similar marketplaces.

• Strong Excel skills: *VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS.*

• Knowledge of marketplace settlement reports, returns, refunds, and deductions.

• Working knowledge of *Tally or ERP software* (Odoo is an advantage).

• B.Com or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.

• Ability to independently manage reconciliation across multiple marketplaces

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in end-to-end marketplace reconciliation.

• Experience recovering short payments and resolving settlement disputes.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large transaction volumes.
