Job Summary
Town and Gown Sitters is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide attentive childcare and support for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, including infants and toddlers, and possess a nurturing attitude. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment to foster children's development and well-being. The caregiver will be responsible for supervising children, assisting with daily routines, and ensuring their safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities.
• Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote learning and social development.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area, ensuring all toys and equipment are safe and sanitized.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, or concerns.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines related to childcare environments.

Experience

• Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, daycare, or nannying is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of infant care practices including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines.
• Familiarity with toddler care techniques to support developmental milestones.
• Certification in CPR and Smart Sitter Training
