Babysitter/Nanny/ABA

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable babysitter to care for our child mostly after school and some weekends. The ideal candidate is a patient and caring person with experience with child with unique needs. You are able to follow instructions and our standards of care are high.

Requirements
Be at least 18 years old.

Weekends are required 1pm to 9pm. Please do not apply if not available on weekends.

Must have ABA experience or RBT and worked with special needs

• Have a valid driver’s license and personal car.
• Have a reliable cell phone and computer.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Have the ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities
This is more than a traditional nanny role, individual has to be very active, manage child’s therapy sessions and help child progress in his growth and development.

• Meet the child’s needs for food, water, snacks, etc.
• Carry the child to and from the car for their daycare.
• Observe child’s interactions and feelings.
• Communicate with parents about activities and day’s activities.
• Maintain a clean and tidy bedroom for the children to stay there during the day.
• Follow health and safety standards according to OSHA and local regulations.
• Attend to any needs of parents such as picking up child from daycare or car, or filling snacks for family dinner.
• Communicate with parents regularly about their child’s progress and activities.
• Perform other supportive childcare duties as needed (e.g., help with homework, prepare meals, etc.)

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
