Back End Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Back End Developer to develop and maintain scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and frontend applications using modern technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React/Next.js, and databases, with an interest in API integrations, secure application development, debugging, and delivering reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs across our Node.js/Express and NestJS backend services
• Implement and support integrations with payment gateways (PayU, Razorpay, PhonePe, Easebuzz, JioPay) and card networks (Mastercard, Visa)
• Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL via Sequelize/TypeORM) and document stores (MongoDB via Mongoose)
• Build frontend features using React/Next.js (Redux, Ant Design/MUI)
• Implement webhook- and callback-driven integrations with third-party financial APIs
• Handle sensitive financial and PII data using appropriate encryption and security practices
• Participate in code review, testing, and CI/CD-based deployments (GitHub Actions, PM2)
• Debug and resolve production issues across distributed services
• Must be an individual contributor with a high sense of responsibility and ownership

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design, and Databases (relational + NoSQL)
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Node.js (Express and/or NestJS)
• Familiarity with React or Next.js
• Understanding of REST API design, authentication (OAuth/JWT), and basic encryption concepts
• Good problem-solving and algorithmic skills
• Prior exposure to the payments/fintech domain is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Python is a plus for cross-stack adaptability, though not required for our current stack
