Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)

At Gini Talent , we are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join one of our clients operating in the payment technologies sector.

We are seeking a skilled software engineer with strong expertise in C#/.NET, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and high-performance backend development .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend applications.
• Develop backend solutions supporting payment technologies and transaction-intensive systems.
• Collaborate with C++ Developers, Embedded Software Engineers, and cross-functional technical teams.
• Optimize databases, application infrastructure, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and continuously improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical design decisions, and development best practices.
• Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and transaction management.
• Ensure clean, maintainable, testable code following SOLID principles.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong professional experience in backend and web application development, preferably using C#/.NET .
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems .
• Experience developing scalable, high-performance, and transaction-intensive applications.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, asynchronous programming, and concurrency .
• Good knowledge of database technologies, backend architecture, and performance optimization.
• Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable, and testable code.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and ownership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, payment technologies, or financial transaction systems .
• Experience working with high-volume transaction processing applications.
