Back office LVN

Job Summary

Functional medicine clinic specializing in hormones, gut issues, chronic fatigue, in Irvine, Orange County, California, looking for a PART-TIME LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE to perform IV infusions, injections, and other back office duties. Work with wellness clients in a relaxing healing space, without the usual chaos of traditional medical clinics.

Duties

• Administer intravenous IV infusions from start to finish
• Administer medications and injections accurately
• Perform blood draws and phlebotomy when needed
• Assist with medical procedures as needed
• Help clients with lab tests
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly in patient's chart
• Able to learn EHR quickly
• Attend team meetings in clinic as needed

Education and License

• Valid LVN license with current state licensure required
• Previous experience working in functional medicine, integrative, or wellness clinic highly desirable
• Knowledge of anatomy for finding veins for IV placement required
• Knowledge of safe injection technique required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy necessary for patient assessment and documentation required

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• IV infusion: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (California) (Required)
