Team players with a great attitude, this is for you. Want to become a server but nobody is giving you the shot? Start here. You don't need years of experience. You need to really want it, show up, and work as a team. We'll train you, and the ones who put in the work grow into servers. One of our own started as a dishwasher and is now on the manager track. About us: Mare e Monte ("Sea and Mountain") is a family-owned scratch Italian restaurant on Huebner Rd. We serve wine and beer, we're walk-in only, and our promise to every guest is "Welcome Home." What we look for: - A great attitude and real teamwork. You help each other, every shift. - Hospitality first. You greet every guest, say goodbye to every guest, and smile. - Your energy goes up when it's busy, not down. - You show up on time, ready to work and ready to learn. What you'll do: - Keep water and bread coming. - Run food from the kitchen to the right guest, hot and correct. - Clear and reset tables fast. - Hosts: welcome every guest, run the waitlist (we don't take reservations), seat guests fairly and answer the phone warmly. - Allergies: never guess, always ask. - Side work, closing duties, and teamwork with servers and the kitchen. Pay: $7.25 to $13 an hour total on average, tip share included. It depends on how busy we are and how many bussers and hosts are on. Training: Four training shifts (five for hosts) and certification. We invest in you. Schedule: Closed Mondays. Lunch and dinner shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
