Job Summary:

Responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing stock while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the back-store area is clean, safe, and well organized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify incoming goods against invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders.
• Check quantities, quality, expiry dates, and product condition.
• Properly arrange and label stock in the back store.
• Issue stock to relevant departments according to approved requests.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with physical inventory checks.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged items, and expired products.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and other departments regarding stock requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports when required.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage or loss.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock-control procedures.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and move stock when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

2–5 years of relevant store/warehouse experience preferred.
