Back Up Caregiver Needed

I am a female and reside in my own apartment. I am an easy going, friendly person who enjoys people. I am a big believer in self-direction and advocating for myself. I like to have a say in who is going to work for me and being able to connect and get to know them. Self-direction allows me to have independence while having the support I need. I am able to stay in my own home which is a huge plus. I love animals especially dogs, even though I have two cats. I collect gnomes and love bright colors. I enjoy cooking and hanging out with friends.

I am a member of the Wausau community and am looking to hire a backup/ fill in caregiver to cover absences and vacations. Your kindness will support me through everyday activities like dressing, grooming, and household tasks, allowing me to maintain my independence and dignity.

This role offers a meaningful connection, with the potential for morning, evening or weekend shifts.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:30am & 8:00pm-10:00pm

Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am-9:30am & 8:00pm-10:00pm

*This is a fill in role with no guaranteed hours*

Job Tasks:

• Assist with dressing, grooming, and bed baths

-Catheter care and hygiene

-Help with transfers using a slide board

-Light household chores like sweeping, mopping, and dishes

-Manage trash removal

-Laundry and linen changes

-Follow wound care plans as needed/Wound vac

-Foley bag assistance

Compensation:- $17.00 per hour

Preferred Qualities:

• Friendly, trustworthy, and positive team player

• Prior experience is preferred, but we will train the right compassionate individual

• Pet-friendly—cats are part of her home-

Must pass a background check and be at least 18 years old to apply
