Backend Developer (AWS + Node JS)

Timing: 11 AM to 8 PM (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with experience in AWS, specifically EC2 and Lambda functions, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable backend applications, managing server infrastructure, and optimizing cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Backend Services:
• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend systems.

AWS Integration:

• Utilize AWS services, particularly EC2 and Lambda, to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
• Set up and maintain AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
• Implement serverless functions using AWS Lambda.

Database Management:

• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or MySQL/PostgreSQL.

API Development:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, or similar protocols.

Code Quality & Testing:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with proper documentation.
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure security best practices in code, data storage, and AWS configurations.
• Monitor and audit system logs to identify and resolve security incidents.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members to deliver complete solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and project planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices design patterns.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (optional but preferred).

Database Knowledge:

• Proficiency with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).

DevOps & CI/CD:

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization.

Communication:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
