Backend Developer

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities

Develop enterprise-level e-commerce solutions utilizing server-side ECMAScript-based languages and modern client-side JavaScript.
Actively participate in daily project team meetings and technical brainstorming sessions to address complex implementation issues.
Provide accurate effort estimates and regular status updates for assigned tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
Collaborate closely with frontend development and QA teams to ensure feature consistency and high-quality deliverables.
Identify and recommend improvements for development procedures, internal systems, and engineering tools to the Team Lead.
Design and implement robust integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP web services.
Apply industry-standard design patterns and object-oriented principles to maintain scalable and efficient codebases.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 3 years of professional experience with any server-side language, with a strong preference for the Node.js environment.
Excellent knowledge of native JavaScript and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Proficiency with JavaScript build engines and task runners such as Gulp, Webpack, or Grunt.
Technical understanding of various data formats including JSON, CSV, and XML for system integrations.
Hands-on experience with Version Control Systems, specifically Git, in a collaborative team environment.
Solid knowledge of design patterns and their practical application in complex software projects.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills, used daily in a professional and technical capacity.
Familiarity with popular JS frameworks or libraries such as jQuery, AngularJS, or ExtJS is highly desirable.

Must have SFCC Composable Commerce Backend Developer experience.
