BACKEND DEVELOPER

Backend Development

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs.
• Implement business logic and backend functionalities for Bondsmart.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and production-ready code.
• Debug and resolve backend issues and improve application performance.

Database Development

• Work with PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for application requirements.
• Design and maintain database tables, relationships, constraints, and indexes.
• Work with database transactions and ensure data consistency.

API Integration System Development

• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Implement and handle webhooks and asynchronous processes.
• Develop secure APIs with proper validation, authentication, authorization, and error handling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot API and application-level issues.

Collaboration Learning

• Collaborate with frontend developers and other engineers through Git and GitHub.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to the development of Bondsmart, our online bond trading platform.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on knowledge of js and REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases.
• Understanding of database design and transactions.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and error handling.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of AWS and cloud deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take ownership.
