About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer who can design, develop, and maintain reliable server-side applications and REST APIs. You will work closely with frontend developers to build scalable, secure, and efficient web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage databases using MongoDB.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable JavaScript code.
• Optimize API performance and database queries.
• Implement proper error handling, validation, logging, and security practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with web applications.
• Debug issues and improve application reliability.
• Work with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Good understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience with MongoDB and database design.
• Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
• Knowledge of JWT authentication and authorization.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and error handling.
• Basic understanding of web security and API security.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Freshers with strong backend projects are welcome to apply.
• Candidates should have a good understanding of backend development fundamentals.
