Role Description

This is a full-time, fully remote role. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of server-side logic, database management, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Your daily tasks will include implementing APIs, managing data storage solutions, collaborating with front-end developers, and integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic.

What we are looking for

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with Front-End Development and general Programming skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Familiarity with database management and meta frameworks (we only use Next.js)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with AI-powered tools and JAMstack is a plus
• Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability (caching, load balancing, monitoring)
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms (Salesforce, CRM, analytics, marketing automation tools)
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.

Bonus Points

• Lots of experience with Next.js
• Familiarity with frontend, but not a requirement
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and serverless patterns
• Contributions to open-source or developer communities.
