Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 4+ years of experience in Java or Python development to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong object-oriented programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience with backend frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI-powered development tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java or Python.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend features.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure application performance and reliability.
• Follow software engineering best practices, release processes, and development life cycles.
• Leverage AI assistants and coding agents to improve development productivity.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, backend frameworks, and AI tools.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of backend development experience in Java or Python.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software design principles.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of unit testing, code reviews, and software development life cycles.
• Hands-on experience with AI assistants and prompt engineering.
• Ability to validate AI-generated code and identify potential inaccuracies, biases, and limitations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of both Java and Python.
• Experience working in a product development environment.
• Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools and development agents.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and functional specifications.
