Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable solutions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the overall product development lifecycle.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and web services.
• Develop backend solutions using Python/Django, Node.js, or Go.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software design principles.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
• Use Git/GitHub workflows for version control and collaborative development.
• Contribute to improving application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python/Django, Node.js, and/or Go (Golang).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and web services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub workflows.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience participating in code reviews and collaborative development.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
