Job Summary

We are looking for a talented, hands-on Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll help develop and optimize our application analytics solution using Go, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our platform's capabilities, improve performance, and ensure seamless integration with diverse systems.

What You'll Do

• Design & Development: Help design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our application analytics platform. Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Hands-on Coding: Write efficient, maintainable, well-documented Go code. Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to testing and deployment.
• Kubernetes & Cloud Integration: Develop and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes. Leverage cloud services to enhance the scalability and reliability of our analytics solution.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance. Implement best practices for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and deliver innovative solutions to keep our platform stable and efficient.

What You Bring

• Experience: 3-5 years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development. Proven track record in designing and building scalable systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Go or the ability to learn new languages quickly. Practical and/or conceptual understanding of Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform.
• Architecture & Design: Knowledge of system architecture and design patterns. Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize code and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional distributed team.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling technical challenges.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Additional Technologies: Familiarity with additional technologies relevant to analytics or data processing.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. Familiarity with additional technologies relevant to analytics or data processing. Cloud or Kubernetes-related certifications.
• Experience coaching and supporting other engineers' career growth.

Compensation

Individual compensation depends on skills, qualifications, and experience. Compensation includes salary, equity, benefits, and a discretionary bonus.
