Backend Developer

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Backend Developer

Job Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices that power payment processing and financial services
• Build and optimise payment integrations for card transactions, POS, bank transfers, bill payments, and digital wallets
• Develop APIs for agent onboarding, KYC verification, commissions, terminal management, and settlement
• Design and maintain databases, transaction ledgers, reconciliation services, and event-driven systems, ensuring data integrity and security
• Write automated tests, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering. or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of backend development experience using C#, Node.js, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, MSSQL,
• Redis, and message queues such as Azure Service Bus.
