Job Details

Job Title: Backend Developer Intern

Duration: 1 to 3 months

Stipend: INR 15,000 to INR 16,500 per month

Employment Type: Full Time (Internship)

Experience Level: Internship / Entry Level

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend features and REST APIs using Node.js or Python with guidance from the team

• Write SQL queries to store, fetch and update data in databases

• Design simple database tables and connect them with application logic

• Integrate APIs with front end applications and third-party services

• Handle authentication, validation and error handling in backend modules

• Use Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration

• Test APIs using Postman, debug issues and improve performance

• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Node.js or Python (functions, OOP concepts, async programming)

• Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON

• Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE)

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub

• Basic understanding of databases and backend concepts

• Good written and spoken English communication

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Express, Flask, Django or FastAPI

• Familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL or PostgreSQL

• Basic understanding of authentication (JWT) and API security

• Any backend project, course or certification

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), M.Sc or any related field

• Freshers interested in building a career in backend development

• Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection
