Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in building scalable backend applications using Python, Django, FastAPI, and RESTful APIs . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade applications and exposure to building or integrating Agentic AI, Generative AI, LLM-based applications, and AI platforms . This role involves designing and developing intelligent applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, workflow orchestration frameworks, and modern cloud-native architectures. The candidate will work closely with Product, AI/ML, and Platform Engineering teams to build next-generation AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:

Python Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python .
• Build high-performance APIs using Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and FastAPI .
• Develop reusable, secure, and maintainable microservices.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Implement authentication, authorization, API security, rate limiting, and performance optimization.
• Write clean, testable, and production-ready code following engineering best practices.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

AI Application Development

• Build and integrate AI-powered applications leveraging LLMs and Agentic AI frameworks .
• Develop conversational AI, copilots, intelligent assistants, and workflow automation solutions.
• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
• Integrate external tools, APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms into AI workflows.
• Build multi-agent systems capable of planning, reasoning, and executing complex business processes.
• Develop prompt management, memory handling, tool calling, and agent orchestration capabilities.

Data Engineering & AI Integration

• Design and implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets.
• Manage and optimize the data layer for AI/ML applications.
• Build scalable ETL workflows and integrate with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and LLM-based systems.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across AI workflows

AI Platform & Integration

• Contribute to the development of internal AI platforms and reusable AI services.
• Integrate AI models from OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source LLMs.
• Work with vector databases and semantic search systems.
• Develop AI service layers for scalable enterprise deployments.
• Support model evaluation, observability, monitoring, and feedback collection.

Cloud & DevOps Collaboration

• Deploy applications using Docker and container-based environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
• Collaborate with platform teams on Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments.
• Ensure application scalability, availability, and security.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Python backend development and API design.
• Proven expertise in data engineering : pipelines, ETL, data modeling, and database management.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience with deployment of LLM applications on GPU-powered infrastructure (NVIDIA GPUs, AWS/GCP/Azure GPU instances, Kubernetes GPU orchestration).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue).
• Experience with version control (Git) , containerization (Docker) , and CI/CD pipelines .
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable AI deployments.
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed computing, and microservices architecture .
• Experience in data governance, performance optimization, and cost-efficient ML model deployment .
