Job Title: Backend Developer (Python, Django)

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

What You’ll Actually Do

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Django, not just CRUD APIs but systems that can handle real load
• Design clean, efficient RESTful APIs that frontend teams don’t hate working with
• Optimize database queries, indexing, and performance, especially with PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, not hacks that break in 2 weeks
• Work with product and frontend teams to ship features end to end
• Handle integrations with third-party APIs, payment systems, and external services
• Debug production issues without panicking

What You Must Have

• Strong experience in Python and Django or Django REST Framework
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and security basics
• Good knowledge of databases, SQL, schema design, query optimization
• Experience with version control, Git is non-negotiable
• Understanding of asynchronous tasks, Celery, Redis is a big plus
• Basic understanding of deployment, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code without overengineering
