What they need
Backend Developer Requirements
* Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js
* Able to design and develop RESTful APIs
* Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization
* Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
* Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
* Experience integrating third-party APIs and webhooks
* Familiar with TypeScript and Git.
* Knowledge of software architecture, scalability, security, and best practices
* Able to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Nice to Have
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean)
* Experience with Redis, queues, and background jobs
* Experience in hospitality, travel, payment, or booking systems
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
* Ability to independently design backend systems and database schemas from business requirements without detailed technical guidance
