Backend Engineer, AI agents platform

The Impact You'll Make AI agents are moving from demos into everyday work, and we want every team at Danfoss to be able to use them. You'll build the tools, integrations and templates that let engineers, product teams and domain experts create useful AI agents. Those people should be able to do this without being AI specialists themselves.

We're looking for a strong engineer who loves connecting systems and building tools other people rely on, and who is already curious about LLMs and AI agentic development with some experience even if not production ready. Alongside experienced engineers you'll integrate AI into our tools and services bring them to production level components.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build integrations that let AI agents work with our platform services, using APIs, MCP servers and whatever patterns turn out to work best.
• Create reusable agent templates and workflows that other teams can pick up and adapt.
• Build simple tools that let non-technical colleagues create and use agents safely.
• Work directly with product teams and domain experts to find tasks worth automating, then ship solutions and improve them.
• Make agents reliable in practice, through testing, monitoring and security, and by understanding why an agent did what it did.
• Keep exploring new AI capabilities and share what you learn with the rest of the organisation.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years building backend services, integrations, automation or internal tools in Python or TypeScript or Go.
• Experience connecting APIs, services and data sources into something that runs in production.
• Real curiosity about AI agent topics, LLMs, RAG, MCP or agent framework LangGraph or LangChain you've built something with one, even a side project or hackathon prototype, and you want to go deeper.
• You like being close to users, asking what slows them down and building what fixes it.
• Fluent English and the confidence to explain technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the technological stack of the team: Go, Typescript, Kafka, PostgreSQL
